Just when you finally figure out how to use one of these "blog" sites, everyone switches to a different one.  Sigh!!

One more day of nice weather before the humidity returns.  I think I need to move somewhere that has a nicer summer climate for me.  I DO NOT like humidity.  It makes me want to take a nap.

I wish I were in Europe!!!!!   Love it there - all that old world charm.

I am enjoying a mini-vacation in Richmond at the Embassy Suites while my sister is doing some teaching here for her job.  Nice having a sister with a super job that allows me travel with her at times.  It will end all too soon.

Sunday we enjoyed touring the historical homes on Ft. Monroe.  The General's wife was our tour guide through their home.  Beautiful old, stately homes.

I am enjoying the summer weather.  Great for being outside.  We did tons of yard work this weekend and I washed the van.  Washing the pollen off all of the house windows too!!   The patio furniture is cleaned and ready to be enjoyed.  Not too crazy about the wasps that think the umbrella is a great place to build nests.

My sister, Debbie, is coming later this week for a combination work and vacation trip.  We'll see what mischief we can get into together.  :)

The kids got me a nice digital camera as an early birthday present.  Early so that I would have it to take on my upcoming vacation.   It will probably take me until my birthday in 2010 to learn how to use it.  :)

Eleven days till the Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Glory.  I am so ready for the warmth.   I froze my feet off yesterday feeding the birds.  I guess it's not smart to wear flip flops outside in February when it feels like about 10 degrees with the windchill.
